Selling Homes in a Buyers Market

By Ryan Ward | November 20, 2007

Does attitude play a role in selling your home? I think it does. The news reports are bad. You know, we’ve heard the story for months now: New construction starts are down, real estate stocks are trading lower and the last agent you talked to told you that you need to list your home for less than it would have sold for last year at this time. Well, I for one have heard enough. I am so tired of hearing the sob stories, agents complaining and sellers wondering what it will take to sell their home. The truth as i see it is not nearly as bad as you have been led on and I have 3,718 reasons to tell you its not so bad and 3,718 homeowners in the last month might tell you it’s not so bad either. Buyers are still searching for and buying Atlanta homes.

So if you are in the market for a real estate agent who believes that you still have a chance to sell your home, you owe it to yourself to find someone who believes that they can actually get it sold. That’s where we come in. We are selling homes and working with buyers right now and we do not believe that the sky is falling. Here’s an example. Home values in Atlanta are up, yes, I said up 3% from last year. So before you throw in the towel, give us a call and let us show you the difference a positive attitude can have in helping you sell your home.
