Here are the market statistics for the Alpharetta real estate market for May of 2007 from the Alpharetta MLS. Each of the cities that make up the Atlanta real estate market need to be looked at on the own accord as real estate markets can differ even within Atlanta.

Alpharetta real estate Market conditions:

  • 1,653 Alpharetta homes are currently for sale.
  • 446 additional homes are working on an offer.
  • 193 homes sold in Alpharetta during may.
  • The absorption rate, based on May sales is 8.5 months

The absorption rate is based on the number of homes sold during a a given period of time, in this case one month. This number is used as a basis by which you would use to determine how long it would take for all available homes to sell.
